Cookie Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

DepotEase currently uses only cookies required for authentication, security and requested account flows.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. They can help a website remember a secure session, complete a requested process or protect against misuse. Similar browser storage can include localStorage and sessionStorage, although DepotEase does not currently use either of those technologies.

2. Cookies DepotEase uses

The current first-party application uses only strictly necessary cookies. Their exact names can vary where a provider includes a project identifier or splits a cookie into several parts.

  • Supabase authentication-session cookies keep a user securely signed in, refresh the session and allow protected DepotEase pages to recognise the authenticated account.
  • Supabase PKCE verification cookies temporarily connect the browser that started an email-verification or password-recovery flow with the secure callback that completes it.
  • depotease-password-recovery temporarily confirms that the browser completed a valid password-recovery callback. It lasts for about ten minutes.
  • depotease-verification-… is a short-lived, email-specific cooldown used to prevent repeated verification-email requests. It lasts for about one minute and uses a hashed identifier in the cookie name rather than the email address itself.

These cookies are used for the service or security action requested by the user. Blocking them may stop signup, login, email verification, password recovery or authenticated pages from working correctly.

3. Analytics, advertising and other tracking

DepotEase currently has no first-party analytics cookies, advertising cookies, marketing pixels, conversion tracking, session recording or product-analytics scripts. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel are not implemented. No non-essential first-party cookies were identified in the current application, so DepotEase does not currently display a cookie-consent banner.

4. Cookies on provider-hosted services

DepotEase uses services including Supabase and Stripe. When a user is redirected to a provider's own hosted page or communicates with a provider endpoint, that provider may use cookies under its own policy. In particular, Stripe hosts subscription Checkout and the Customer Portal. Cookies controlled by those providers on their own services are not set for advertising by the DepotEase application.

5. Browser controls

Most browsers let users view, block or delete cookies. Browser help pages explain the available controls. Deleting an authentication cookie will usually sign the user out, and blocking necessary cookies may prevent account and security flows from completing.

6. Changes to this policy

We will reassess this policy and any consent requirement before introducing analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or other non-essential browser storage. The date at the top identifies the current version.
